Home Alone and Guitar Hero

Well Michael has been gone for 4 days, and it feels like forever. Good thing that my aunt is staying with me or I would go crazy. She doesn't come to my house until late so its just me and Annabell. Since Michael is gone I take care of Annabell, he had her a long time before he found me, so I am like the stepmother. No matter what I do, she will always run to Michael. Well Michael has been gone and I have been taking care of her, and hopefully when he comes back I will still be her favorite. Fat chance but I can hope. My motherly instincts have not kicked in yet, because 2 nights ago she peed on the floor twice. Oops, so yesterday I took her out twice when we got home and no accidents.

While I am home alone, the great thing is I can watch whatever I want. Michael does not like reality TV, so we watch something different. But now that he is gone I have been watching everything. Also I play guitar hero. Michael likes the game but he is only on easy and has lost interest in it. I stopped playing about 2 weeks ago because I had gotten to a part I couldn't beat. Well one of my friends came over a beat it for me. So I beat the game on medium. This week I started playing on hard. I have only gotten past one level. It is the same songs that are in medium except that they have added another key( the dreaded orange key). Well it takes me a few times to beat a song now, but I am slowly progressing. Michael will come back to a rock star!

He comes home on Saturday! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Las Vegas Bound!

My brand new spanking husband is leaving for Vegas for a whole week for a construction expo. He is the co owner of a grading company and he has been talking about this expo when we first started dating 2 years ago. Anyway this will be the first time we will have been apart. We have not been married 2 months. My aunt is coming to stay with me so I won't be lonely. I also got my haircut today. My hair has no style at all. Now it does. I have a sister in law that does hair and since I am part of the family now I get my haircuts for free. But I am definitly not the kind of girl who gets her haircut every month. I should but I don't. I will have to put pictures up of what it looks like. Hopefully next time that Michael goes somewhere I can go with him. Michael also likes to gamble a little. Last time he was in Vegas he tripled his money and I am hoping that happens again. I don't like gambling because the only time that I did it was on our cruise and I didn't win anything. I don't like losing my money for the heck of it. Back to work tomorrow.

Wedding

Ok I know that I have not put enough wedding pictures on here. But this one is my absolute favorite. The one that seals the deal.

I have tried to steal pictures from my photographer on his website but it has not worked yet. I wrote an article about the wedding for my office newsletter, and you know the show The Office(mine is just like that!) We even have a party planning committee and I am on it. I also wrote a cheer for the newspaper about thanking all my vendors. I appreciate them so much. My family and I did not have to worry about a thing. Debbie Lown is the best wedding coordinator ever.

Boring lives

My husband and I live very boring lives. We go to work and come home and hang out with each other and then on the weekends we do the same thing but we might hang out with our friends too. We have great friends. Although the weekend before last we went out and bought me a brand new car. I can't think of the statement of brand new car without thinking Bob barker in the price is right saying "You just won a Brand New Carrrr!" It only had 14 miles on it. I have never owned a brand spanking new car. I know I sound a little prideful sorry. This weekend we are going to a Ronnie Milsap concert with friends because my husband has always wanted to see him. We are going to Roanoke Rapids which is the old Randy Parton theater. Big news in North Carolina.

Sunday Afternoons

Here my husband and I are watching a movie and I am supposed to be filling out wedding thank you notes. I just can't seem to get started. Its the procrastinator in me. Where are my bridesmaids now?? My husband doesn't want to help me either. Oh well they can wait another week. I rearranged my living room yesterday and I need to take some pictures. I should have taken before and after. I like a whole lot better now. Its not so standard now. I like traditional design with a little contemporary. I have a huge hole above my fireplace where the tv is supposed to go but ours is too big to go in there. So I need candles and or a fern or something decorative.

Friday Night Fun

My husband and I went out tonight, which is what we usually do on Friday nights. We celebrate the start of the weekend. Tonight we went to Sam's club and bought stuff we probably didn't need. We bought 10 cans of ravioli( I really like it for my lunch), the biggest thing of country time pink lemonade(Michael only likes the pink), razors, boxers, deodorant and Zicam(My husband has a stuffy nose. That is the most random things I have ever bought. Then we went and got pizza and ended the night at Barnes and Noble. I know I said that Michael did not like the TV on at night so I started reading in the bed. I bought three books and a book light because the last few nights I have had to lay a small mag light on the bed and rearrange it every time I turn the page. Tomorrow I have to clean my house. It is a mess and for the most part it is Annabell's fault. Yes she is a dog and she is 80% responsible for the mess. She likes to take our socks and spread them all over the floor and her dog toys. She can't really respond or get mad at her for writing about how she keeps our house dirty so its ok. She has torn a couple of my panties up which is really bad, so I definitely can't keep them on the floor. I hate cleaning but I have all day tomorrow because Michael will be gone to an auction.

One month and and a week and 3 days of married life.

I know I was supposed to write about the wonders of wedding planning but surprisingly it was pretty easy. I didn't do much work except approve things and it turned out great. I will try to get some pictures up. Its a little behind but I will also be putting honey moon pictures up. Here is one and we took this picture. I love this picture.

Well married life has been great so far. So many people have asked us how is married life? How are you supposed to answer that? My husband and I have been thinking of funny ways to answer that like I really don't like him, or she doesn't like my other girlfriend. We like being married and its hard to adjust to living with a person and meshing everything together like our money, closet space, and sleeping habits. Michael wakes up early like 5 in the morning and I don't wake up until 7:30. I tried really hard to get up and make him breakfast but I am not a morning person and I ended up going back to sleep. So now its hard for me to go to sleep at night because I sleep in a little so we don't go to bed at the same time. He doesn't like the TV on and I usually have to sleep with some noise or something to put me to sleep. So I have resorted to reading books with a mag light under the covers so I don't wake him but still go to bed at the same time. But on the weekends I can turn the tv on at night.

I redid my guest bathroom so now if I have guests they can take a shower, granted there is no comfortable place to sleep yet. I haven't moved my bed over from my old place yet, but I have to before Michael leaves for Las Vegas. I have people coming to stay with me maybe more than one and not everyone can sleep in my bed.
