This is my absolute favorite Christmas movie. It makes me laugh like a 12 year old girl every single time I see it. It never gets old.
I love that it comes on almost every day at Christmas time. I can not channel surf anytime I see it. I must watch it!! My friends and I just crack up at this movie. It is so stupid!!
Buddy the elf! What's your favorite color?
Santa!! I know him! I know him!!
The other movie that cracks me up in the Christmas season is Christmas Vacation. I can not get enough of the Griswolds.
Cousin Eddie!! That is all I have to say!
I love watching these christmas movies all through the season especially the ones I mentioned!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I realize that Thanksgiving ends in two hours, but I wanted to get a Thanksgiving post up. I wanted to write the things I am thankful for this season.
1. God: I am truly nothing without him, and he brought me into this life. He has blessed me greatly. He is my ultimate Savior.
2. My Husband: I love him so much, and I am so thankful that we were brought together. This was our first Thanksgiving together, and I enjoyed it so much!
3. Family: I have such an awesome and supportive family that takes great care of me and my husband. They continually teach me things that I cherish.
4. My job: When this economy is so shaky, I am thankful that I have a job to go to every day. My husband's business is holding on by a thread, and I pray every day we can keep our head above water.
I really am going to enjoy spending this season with my family and my husband. I hope everyone that reads this has a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Shutterfly.com
I just used this website to get my Christmas cards for this season. I had never used it before, but I love it. I got 62 Christmas cards, and 50 pictures that I needed printed out. I ordered them on Sunday afternoon, and got them today Tuesday!
I could not believe it. It was also highly affordable. I only paid 33 dollars for everything! I got free shipping and 50 free prints and 12 extra Christmas cards when I ordered 50. I don't think you can beat that for anything.
The pictures also turned out great, and also I got envelopes to go with my Christmas cards!! Seriously if you are doing Christmas cards, you need to go through them.
You can also have your own page where friends and family can see your pictures and order if they want to. You can also pick the pictures up at Target, if you can't wait two days!!
I was shocked because the site said I would not get them til the end of the week!

Blah!
Today has just been one of those days.
I went to work same as always, and when I went to the bathroom at 1:30, I noticed my shirt was on inside out! All day long I have been sitting here thinking I have been cute, and my shirt was on inside out.
Great!
This weekend Michael and I went to Raleigh, where the stores are better, more restaurant options, and better deals.
I didn't buy a single Christmas present.
We drove an hour to go to fancy schmancy mall, and I bought Michael a N.C. State shirt. I did however buy a few more things for my Christmas tree and decorations. Hopefully I will have everything finished tonight! My aunt is coming over, and she is a Martha Stewart type decorator. She is going to put the finishing touches on it.
Yesterday I watched Bridge to Teribithia for the second time, and cried my eyes out. That is my favorite book when I was in 5th grade, and have loved it ever since. For Valentine's day the year before last, Michael took me to see the movie.
I was crying louder than anyone including grown men. I watched it yesterday and still cried. That little boy is so heartbreaking!
All in all a semi decent weekend.

My Christmas Wish List!!
I know Thanksgiving is a week away, but I thought I would let my husband in on the things I want for Christmas. I know I would rather give than recieve, but I pretty much have to let him know. He usually does a great job.
First off..
I need this to make my pictures look extra cool!! I had the free software for a month, and then my hubby got it for another month. Now I miss it!
Ok I have this game, but they came out with a sequel called Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV party. It is short fun games that I can use my wii fit for, because I sure do not use it to exercise! I also want Guitar hero: Aerosmith.
I just started watching this last season, but this show cracks me up. I love Mark and Amanda together!!
Ok maybe not this watch, but one like it. I use to wear watches all the time, but I have not in a long time.
I like to cook, and I see this for the majority of the recipes I want to make. I need one to make delicious meals!
And then I need this to make desserts:
I think that's it!! I see stuff all the time, but I don't like to tell people what I want except for Michael. When his mom asks me, I say scarves and gloves. I don't want to tell her I want a wii game.

Midnight Ramblings
Is this what life is all about?
As I sit here listening to the TV about having a dozen kids on TLC, and on the other ear, I hear my husband snoring.
I can't sleep tonight for some reason. I go through phases where I sleep fine, and then one night I can't sleep.
Tonight is one of those nights. I have so much on my mind that I worry or think about. Why am I so blessed? I could have never imagined my life turning out this way. I knew that I was ready to be married. I knew that I would be good as a wife.
But tonight as I sit here and think. Am I really a good wife? Do I love my husband enough to give everything to him? Do I love him enough for it just to be him and me. No kids at all.
Frankly I am scared to death of having kids. I know I talk about it alot, but at midnight when my words seem more clear and I can say what I feel. Is love for my husband making him dinner, washing his clothes, having sex? I think it is a more spiritual, emotional, physical attachment than I can ever have with anyone else.
And the love I have for my husband how can I take some of that love away and give it to a child?
This is a post where I just wrote what I have been thinking at Midnight. Its not something I thought about or wanted to add pictures too. Its not a funny post. Its my thoughts and this is what this blog is about.

Seasons!
Today it snowed!!! Well there was flurries for about a minute. I did not see them persay, because I am locked in an enclosed office. I have no windows to see the beautiful snow.
Last week it was in the 70's.
This week it is the 40's.
I know this is great information on a blog, but not much more is happening. I am still not done decorating for Christmas. However I did go on shutterfly last night, and created my Christmas cards.
I might need to take another picture for the card, but it works for now.
I have mexican thanksgiving at the office on Thursday. Yes I am on the party planning committee, but don't call me Phyllis! Our office does not want to have the traditional thanksgiving meal, because that cost too much money. The managers are providing the tacos and burritos, and we have to bring the rest.
Feliz Thanksgiving!!!
Do Hispanic people even celebrate Thanksgiving? I don't mean that to sound mean, but what does their culture do? I am not sure I have a ot of hispanic readers.
Anyway DWTS is almost done, and my husband is ready to get his TV back. I think Cody is going home tonight. I want Lance Bass to win!!

A crime has been commited
against my rug.
The perpetrator was caught red-handed.
No one was hurt in this except for the rug. It is a red ink pen.
This had to a have been a full ink pen to cause this damage. There is so much ink that Resolve carpet cleaner can't get it up. We were sitting right with her while she did this? Why didn't we notice until she was done!!!
It was pretty funny, and funny enough to put on my blog. I should just start a blog called Annabell's Antics. It is something everyday!

Dentist Appointment
I hate the dentist!!!!
Now my dentist is a very nice lady, but her dental assistant loves torturing me. I hate what a dentist has to do. I hate the job, not the person.
Why must you scrape my teeth with that pointy thing!! It hurts and it grates me to no end!! My dentist also checks me for oral cancer, and just so you know I am cancer free. I do have a little TMJ though. Everytime I open my mouth my jaw pops. It doesn't hurt but its noticable.
I have been seeing this dentist for a year, and I have had 3 cativities filled. On my appointment today, she says I have 6 more cavities!!!
What the Heck?? Its because I don't floss and they are between my teeth. I don't mind getting cavities filled, because they give me the good old numbing shots!!
I just hate the scraping with the pointy thing!!
Change of subject: Have you seen the commercial for Jon and Kate getting married. I saw it today and it brought tears to my eyes, and it was just the commercial!! It was so sweet though. I know if I watch the show I will be boohooing! I love that family!

Thanksgiving? What's That?
I know that Thanksgiving has not arrived yet. I know that I have not tasted that sweet turkey, yams, potatoes, or pumpkin pie. No sweet nap dreaming of football and family. But I could not help it. I wanted to get an early start.
We bought our Christmas tree last night.
This is our first Christmas as a married couple, and I want our house to be the prettiest on the block. All I have is the tree and the lights. I am going with a monogram theme this year, and I have bought too many to count of A's and M's. I want something that is traditional yet different. Hopefully I will have it fully decorated by the weekend after Thanksgiving.
This is a whole new thing for me. I have never decorated my own tree. I have never decorated a house for Christmas. I have never woken up on Christmas morning with the love of my life right beside me. We can start any traditions that we want.
It is all fresh and new to us!!!
I have not started on Christmas shopping yet. I am the worst present giver also. I never know what to get anybody. I never know what to tell people what I want. Hopefully I can do better this year!

No Babies!
It seems like everyone is on the babymaking train these days.
Michael and I are not.
We are patiently hanging out in the train station, watching all of our friends and family step on aboard the train. I personally know 8 or more people that are currently pregnant or just had babies.
Michael and I have 2 nephews and 1 niece on his side. They are 6, 5 and 3. They are at the best age to play with, and have fun. They are potty trained, and we love spoiling them. My brother and wife were just blessed with a brand new baby girl. She is the most sweetest thing in the earth. The bad thing is she lives 10 hours away!!! My mother can only go see her about once a month.
Guess what I hear when she gets back.
Momma: "When are Michael and you having babies?"
Me: "Not anytime soon."
Momma: "But I need a grandchild that is close by."
Me: "Tell your son to move closer."
Every day someone asks us about having children. I know that you are supposed to get married and procreate. We are heavily thinking about in the next few years to have a child or two. Just not right now.
A couple of weeks ago, I was feeling tired and just plain weird. I get plenty of sleep at night, and I just didn't know what was happening. Michael and I joked that maybe I was pregnant. I could not get it out of my mind, so I took a pregnancy test.
It was negative.
I was relieved.
So when people are getting on the babymaking train, and leaving us in the station. They do not have to worry, because we will eventually get on the train.

Who loves Michael more??
Michael and I have a dog.
Her name is Annabell.
She was around almost a year before I even stepped into the picture. She and I act the same way around Michael however. Now granted he doesn't have to take me out for walks to use the potty, but he does have to take me out to eat a couple times a week.
Annabell and I fight for Michael's attention. She usually wins out.
Here are a few examples:
1. When Michael is laying down in his recliner, she comes up and lays right on his chest. She is a little thing, but she likes to lay right on him for a long time. hen I am being sweet to Michael, I try to sit on his lap in the recliner to cuddle. I think it last like 5 minutes because his arm is in the wrong place, or my bony hip is in his side.
Annabell: 1 Me: 0
2. In the beginning of our marriage when Michael and I would be intimate, and underthings go flying all over. She would take just my underthings and tear them up. I went through 2 bras and a handful of panties. The good side of that is Michael would have to buy me the Victoria Secret gift card to replace them. My body can only handle the good stuff.
Annabell: 1 Me: 1
3. Michael and I go to bed at the same time every night. We lay in bed and talk about our day, and Annabell always shows up to smoosh in between us. She knows there is an inch of room between us, so she makes room. She has to sleep right beside Michael. He never pushes her away.
Annabell: 2 Me: 1
If Annabell has an accident in our house, it is usually in the closet of our bedroom. It also usually while Michael and I are in the shower, or just being together. Without her. She has major jealousy and possessive issues. I think she needs doggie therapy.
But here I am writing a whole blog about how I fight with Annabell (a dog) for my husband's attention. I think I may have issues too. One thing is for sure, Annabell and I both know how to get Michael to do whatever we want. We just bat those puppy dog eyes of ours, and he makes sure we are taken care of. There has been a couple nights that Annabell gets left at Grandma's overnight, so we can have privacy.
Annabell: 2 Me: 2 Michael: 0 awww!
And I don't have kids, I wonder why?

My Heritage
I am from the South. I am a good ole Southern girl with a Southern(redneck) husband. One day I hope to raise my kids in the good ole' Southern way. My momma and daddy raised me with the best intentions. They worked extremely hard to give us everything we wanted. I was a latchkey kid in Kindergarten through my senior year in high school. There was some babysitters, but for the most part TV was our babysitter. I seem to think now is the reason that I love to watch my TV. It was always there when I needed it.
Unless my brother had the changer.
My parents worked in a grocery store. I used to be so ashamed of that. I never wanted to tell anybody at school where my parents worked. I know its sad. If only I could take that back. My brother and I were never left out of anything however. We played every sport in school, and my parents paid the way. We went on every church and school trip all through school. My family was never on welfare. We never lived in a trailer. I am definitely not saying those things are bad. You do what you got to do to make your family work.
My father once told me once that we could make a choice. We could live in the house in a subdivision and keep our used cars, or we could live in a trailer and have brand new cars. I think its all in what you really want. My parents have lived in the same house for 22 years. The are really close to paying off their mortgage.
We were not rich by no means. My parents wanted us to have college educations, great jobs, and a great family.
Two out of three ain't bad.
I never got my college education, but I have great job. My brother has 2 bachelor degrees, and a masters degree. He has a great job too. I always say he went to college for me.
My brother and I got the family of our dreams too! I have a loving, wonderful, and supportive husband. He has a wife and a baby girl.
I could care less if I had to live in a trailer, as long as my family was with me, and no tornadoes were in sight. I have pride in what my family has accomplished.
Today my Father no longer works for one grocery store. He works for about 40 grocery stores as a vendor for a major frozen pizza company. At his age, he is the Number 1 salesman on the East Coast for this company. My mother no longer works for the grocery store either. She is a successful business owner. She owns a gift basket business that she started from scratch with her sister.
All that shame that I had was for nothing. They were showing me that they worked hard to make a living. It doesn't matter where you work as long as you are happy.

Junior League
I am thinking about joining my local Junior League. I am interested in the volunteer work that the Junior League puts on, and I love the local Holly Day fair that they put together.
But am I too young to be a part of the Junior League? Whenever I think of the Junior League, I think of women in their 40's who have great kids, great house, and all around perfect.
I am none of those things. I think of someone like Laura Bush. She is probably a part of it.
But as I sit and see how I moan about America, and how I don't want to spread my wealth. I know I change things by helping others. My local Junior League helps a lot with children, habitat for humanity, and battered women. Why can't I be the type of person who does that?
I am lazy, and I read where you have to give at least 3 hours a week to the Junior League. That may not seem like a lot, but when I have to work, work out, blog, watch tv, and take care of my husband, 3 hours seems like 40 days. Also the new membership classes have already started, so I will have to wait until next year. I have a while to ponder whether I want to be a part of it or not.

Usually I have a few commenters, but in the last 3 post I have not had any. Good thing I looked at my bloggy friend Mrs. D and she informed me through her comments, that she could not comment.
I tried the new commenting thing that most blogs I see have now, but obviously that is not working, so I am going back to the old one.
Geez and I thought no one was finding my blogs funny!!

Election Time
My aunt, her son(my cousin, duh), and me are meeting up at 6:30 in the morning to go vote for our president. There is not going to be no early voting for us. I beleive that it is UN american to early vote. I like voting on the day because it always seems like those count.
The sad thing is my aunt and me are voting for one person, and my cousin is voting for the other guy. We are planning to go out to breakfast after voting. That is if we don't have to wait in line foreva!! I really don't want to wait in line, and I am hoping that the people don't start to get into line until 8 in the morning.
I am so sick of political ads and propoganda!! I am not sure if I have made it clear who I am voting for, but I do not want to push anybody away because we don't agree on the presidential election. I already don't have that many readers. I don't want to alienate anybody else.
Let's just get it over with!!! Please!!
